The Doctor of Business Administration with IST major(DBA) is a research oriented degree program that emphasizes management of Information Systems. The Doctor of Business Administration (DBA) program prepares a student for an academic career in teaching and research at the college or university level. The IST major is one of the majors included in the college's doctoral program. All students are expected to complete several core courses in research methodology before starting their specialization in Information Systems.

Program Design

The DBA program with IST major is designed to provide an academically rigorous experience to a diverse population of traditional and non-traditional students. The lock step structure allows for timely completion of the degree, whether the student attends on a part-time or full-time basis. To provide flexibility and to meet the needs of part-time students, course work is offered in the evening hours.

Financial Assitance

With respect to the nature of the part-time program, a limited number of doctoral assistantships are offered. Applicants should indicate their interests for an assistantship at the time of application. Need for assistantship is not a factor in admission decisions.
