MCIS PROGRAM TRANSITION RULES

The Master in Computer and Information Science (MCIS) program was significantly modified in Spring, 2003, to accomodate new program structure as well as several new courses.

As with any updating of curriculum, transition rules are necessary to help phase in the changes and to allow students to clearly understand what their graduation requirements are, regardless of their MCIS program admission date.  We have provided sheets that will assist you in doing that.  However, it is necessary that you have a CIS faculty advisor approve a Program of Study that outlines all courses you will take in order to graduate from the MCIS program.

GENERAL TRANSITION GUIDELINES

Identify the Category to which you belong, based on your MCIS admission date, to determine the Program to which you belong.  Please consult an advisor or the CIS department for the appropriate program sheets.
