SIC assembler/simulator

Leland L. Beck of San Diego State University is the author of "System Software: An Introduction to Systems Programming" in its third editon by Addison-Wesley. The SIC support software is at rohan.sdsu.edu in SystemSoftware.tar.

I have a copy of the sic.zip (54 KB) file which includes the following:

Some other resources on the web include SIC software and a tabular summary in PostScript of SIC/XE at Southern Illinois University.

At CWRU is a 2K line SIC/XE assembler in C (based on Beck's Pascal code) with sample input and outputs written by Jason A. Fitch. From Taiwan is another SIC/XE assembler written in C++. There is a SIC assembler written in C at Geocities (has some bugs). At Oregon State University a XSIM Computer Simulator for SIC/XE which runs on X Window System (has some bugs).
