In January of 1999, the Cleveland State University Department of Computer and Information Science installed a Dell PowerEdge 2300 Pentium II dual CPU computer with 256 megabytes of RAM and 16 gigabytes of disk running Red Hat Enterprise Linux. Its full name is grail.cba.csuohio.edu and it is now the primary server of the department for telnet, smtp, ftp, pop, and http.

Over the summer of 1994, the Cleveland State University Department of Computer and Information Science installed a HP 9000 Model E35 ( E-Class Server ) ( Series 800 [816] ) Precision Architecture RISC 1.1 computer with 64 megabytes of RAM running HP-UX 9.04. Its name was grail but it is now being unused. It used to be the primary server of the department.
